The Teachers Service Commission has made public the syllabus of the written examination of the secondary level teaching license, 2078 BS, which will be implemented from April 1, 2078 BS. The syllabus was made public by fixing 100 integers and 50 percent pass marks. According to the syllabus, a total of 50 questions were asked and marks were given at the rate of 2 marks for each correct answer.
To give some relief to the declining results, the commission is going to make some improvements in the license examination. According to a high-ranking official of the Commission, the Commission has removed the negative marking in the objective questions in the examination of secondary level teacher teaching license after the results of the general subject examinations of all the three levels taken for the selection of teachers were disgraceful.
The commission had advertised for the license of Mavic on April 12. The examination application form was opened in single fee till 29th of Baishakh 2079 BS and for immediate (double) fee till 5th of Jeth. 67 thousand 268 people have applied to participate in the examination. 65 thousand 176 applicants had applied within the time limit.
According to the Information Officer of the Commission, Sudarshan Marhatha, 6,836 applications have been received from Far Western Province, 5,813 from Karnali, 10,962 from Lumbini, 5,696 from Gandaki, 17,078 from Bagmati, 8,697 from Madhes and 10,094 from Province One.
The commission has advertised that the examination for the teaching license will be conducted in the provinces on July 3 at 8 am.
