The Centre’s view was made public while discussions were being held on the postponement of the academic session as the study was affected by the Novel Corona Virus (Covid-19) targeted ban and lockdown.
Speaking at a virtual program organized on Tuesday to publicize the decision of the Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council, Director General Dahal said that the start and end dates of the academic session are still the same.
“Even though the study could not take place, the academic session is believed to have started from April 1,” Dahal said.
In five Himalayan districts of Nepal, the academic session starts from February 1 and in all the other districts from April 1.
Due to the Novel Corona Virus (Covid-19) epidemic, students have not been able to attend school for the first time since last April.
Some schools have been conducting distance education since June 1. Most of the 9 million students studying at school level do not have access to online education. Onlinekhabar.com
