There is a demand from parents that schools should not charge full fees as they normally do on the basis of online classes. Subash Bhandari, president of the Institutional School Parents Association, says that transitional fees should be fixed. He says, “You can’t charge more than 50 percent of the monthly fee at such a time.”

Keshav Puri, president of the Parents’ Association of Nepal, says that no charge should be levied on untapped food, unused transport, laboratory, and library. Puri suggests that parents should not forget that parents have also been hit by lockouts and restrictions when boarding fees are set.
