Exactly 6 months after the completion of the local level elections, the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections are about to be held. The Cabinet has announced the election date on Mansir 4.

The conclusion of the police headquarters is that 30,000 more Myadi  police are needed than in the local level elections as polling stations and centers will increase. Police officers say that the number of polling stations should be increased as there will be polling stations in all prisons for the elections of the House of Representatives and the state.

The police head office has made a proposal to recruit 130,000 Myadi police officers and is preparing to submit it to the Ministry of Home Affairs. After the Ministry of Finance agrees to the proposal of the Home Office, applications for Madi Police are invited.

Police Spokesman (DIG) Tek Prasad Rai said that because polling stations and centers will be added, more permanent police will be needed in the House of Representatives and provincial elections than in the local level elections. He said – ‘More than 1 lakh fixed-term police are needed, we will prepare a proposal and send it to the Ministry of Home Affairs.’

There is also a discussion about the direct recruitment of Madi policemen who are deployed in the local level elections. An officer of the police head office said that there is a discussion about the direct recruitment of those who are posted at the local level with testimonials. He said – ‘We will prepare a procedure for that and send it to the Ministry of Home Affairs for approval.’
