According to the Employees Adjustment Act 2075, the way has been opened for the adjusted employees’ union to come to the state.
The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has decided to integrate Basnet into the Union as per the order issued on the writ filed by Anju Basnet, 6th level, in the Patan High Court.ad space
Public Health Inspector Basnet had filed a writ petition in the Patan High Court saying that the adjustment should be revoked as it was made against her will. A joint bench of High Court Judge Ramesh Prasad Rajbhandari and Natibabu Lamichhane had issued the order on April 19, 2008 but the ministry did not agree to implement it saying that the full text had not been passed. As soon as the full text of the court came out, his adjustment was revoked by the ministerial decision of Thursday and he was adjusted in the union.
Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration Basanta Adhikari told the administration that it was decided to integrate Basnet into the union as per the court’s decision.
“As per the order of the esteemed court, it has been decided to integrate Anju Basnet, who has been integrated in the state, into the union,” the spokesperson said.
Announcing the court’s order, the spokesperson said that the ministry had implemented the Patan High Court’s order to revoke the decision and letter of the opposition to integrate petitioner Anju Basnet in Province No. 3 as it was against the law. As soon as the Ministry of General Administration decides to integrate into the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Health will deploy Basnet to the federal post.
For the first time after the staff integration, the court has ruled to integrate the employees who have been integrated in the state into the union. With this decision of the court, the way has been opened for the dissatisfied employees who have now been integrated in the state to come to the union.
According to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, more than 600 applications have been registered so far. Although the adjustment of some employees was amended by the ministerial level decision in the initial days, the number of employees who want to go elsewhere has increased in recent times.ad space
A few days ago, the ministry sent a proposal to the Council of Ministers for a policy decision to manage the adjusted staff, asking for a long-term solution to the problem.
“We have already submitted a proposal to the cabinet to resolve the issues related to integration in a policy manner,” a ministry spokesman said.
Even now, thousands of employees are dissatisfied with the adjustment. Stating that they were forcibly sent in the name of the machine by making a law contrary to the Civil Service Act, they are of the view that they should not be deployed later by making a law contrary to the service conditions when they started their job.
