A proposal related to Fukuwa has been submitted to the Council of Ministers.
The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has proposed to the Council of Ministers to fill the vacancies as per the advertisement issued by the Public Service Commission. A high-level source in Baluwatar told the administration that a meeting sitting at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar could decide on the issue.
Earlier, the process of filling the new posts in the civil service was postponed until further notice, citing the cause of KOVID-19. It was decided to request the Public Service Commission to postpone all the remaining vacancies until further notice.
However, the commission did not invite new advertisements but decided to continue the examinations saying that it was not possible to stop the examinations which had already taken one stage. And, only a few days ago, the commission has made public the examination schedule of those examinations.ad space
The habit of making hasty decisions to disrupt the regular process and making another decision after regretting not being able to implement it is not new. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has also submitted a proposal to the Council of Ministers for a decision to send a letter to the Public Service Commission to release the vacancy provision.
Despite the regular process of civil service flowing like a river, the Minister-Secretary seems to be making decisions in a way that undermines the dignity and functioning of the only commission that has succeeded in maintaining the confidence of the general public. The decision of the Ministry of General Administration to take the proposal to the Council of Ministers to stop the filling of posts was not right, a secretary said.
He said that all the examinations of the commission have been postponed till the next decision is published in view of the government’s decision to go to lockdown and for the sake of public health. The secretary said.
However, there are some who argue that due to a large number of staff in the union and the inability to employ the same staff and the spread of the disease as a global epidemic, the current staff could not be given any services including salary. However, as the process of compulsory retirement of employees is also ongoing, it is equally necessary to keep the process regular so as not to cause a shortage of employees as per the schedule.
In case the cabinet meeting passes this general proposal, there will be an advertisement for the deputy secretary and joint secretary shortly. As the Public Service Commission has already published the work schedule, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has already collected the details of the vacancies and the news has been posted on Administration.com.
