The Kathmandu lockdown has led the government to withdraw from the decision to allow those affected to move out of the valley. The federal government could not last an hour and a half after the provincial governments protested.

The government has shut down the Corona virus (Covid-19) from 11th April to prevent the spread of infection. After the lockdown stretches to May 3, people have even begun to walk home. Seeing this, the government had done homework to allow those who were left in the valley to go out of the valley.

Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ishwar Pokhrel summoned the concerned ministers and directed those who were stopped in the valley to leave tomorrow and Percy. The Home Secretary was asked to do the homework on how to let go.

But the state governments opposed it. Region 5 Chief Minister Shankar Pokhrel protested saying lockdown would not make sense if he was allowed to leave Kathmandu.

The government has withdrew its decision after transport entrepreneurs said it was not possible to send them to Paris tomorrow. Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Vasantakumar Nemwang said, ‘Now it has to be realized that this is not possible.’
